Argentina HUMANITARIAN Mission

Place: Tartagal, province of Salta, Argentina

This humanitarian mission aimed to provide aid to the people impacted by the floods due to Pilcomayo river overflow, and the indigenous people of the Wichi ethnicity, who live in the rural area near the city of Tartagal.

The humanitarian workers of the Fraternity – Humanitarian Federation (FIHF), through their selfless work, gave courage and strength to the population assisted.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

Construction of a retaining wall in order to dam the water.
Confraternization with the socially marginalized indigenous families.
Distribution of clothes, shoes, toys and food previously collected.
Assistance for domestic animals affected by the floods.
Cleaning and harmonization of the community streets and spaces.
Playful activities and hair hygiene for children.
