In her opening remarks in the video, Celina Santos, humanitarian worker and coordinator of the Bahia Light-Network, points out the magnitude of the impact of the rain and floods which affected the State of Bahia: “it is one of the greatest in the last perhaps 50 years or more. People were greatly affected by the experience. We even heard a person say that they only had to hear the sound of rain and became afraid, unsure, feeling that it could happen again.”
The workers of the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) is already active in that region, providing support for the populations affected by the floods and are in vulnerable situations, because many lost everything and now need to rebuild their lives, inwardly and outwardly.
So the humanitarian workers can provide aid to the affected communities that are in a situation of a high degree of vulnerability, we need your collaboration!
