In response to the environmental tragedy caused by the breaking of a tails dam, causing the largest environmental disaster in Brazil, the Fraternity – Humanitarian Federation (FIHF) carried out this short-term mission to provide humanitarian assistance for the region.
The work focused on the organization and maintenance of a shelter for the rescue and care of the affected animals, located in the outskirts of the city of Mariana.
