RWANDA HUMANITARIAN MISSION

The humanitarian workers of the Fraternity – Humanitarian Federation (FIHF) provided support to the poorest, working with the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, mainly in the Kibeho region and in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali –the epicenter of the genocide that occurred in 1994, which culminated in the deaths of nearly one million people.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

Visits to spaced dedicated to the memory of the genocide with the local community.
Visits to poor rural communities to support the distribution of donations.
Various works in support of the Shelter homes of the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, which included assistance for children and the elderly, cleaning and laundry services.
