Besides encouraging the practice of traditional Venezuelan cooking and rescuing its memory, the Project “We and Nourishment”, offered by the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF), has the objective of fostering the autonomy of the Indigenous refugees, providing them with tools of professional training so that they may join the Brazilian job market.
This is just one example of the workshops that are being offered in the shelters under the management of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF), aiming not only at welcoming, but also at offering the opportunity for the Venezuelan Indigenous refugees to rebuild their lives.
