In the shelters of Roraima, under the management of the <g id=\"gid_0\"><g id=\"gid_1\">Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/g><\/g>, sports play an invaluable role, as, in this time of pandemic, they contribute even more for the everyday co-existence among Venezuelan Indigenous children, youths and adults to be healthier and more participative. <\/p>\n\n<p>Among the various sports enjoyed by the Indigenous people, volleyball and soccer stand out, which they practice with dedication. A striking characteristic of these people is their ability to work as a team and their physical dexterity which they have by nature. It was this dexterity that made the <g id=\"gid_0\"><g id=\"gid_1\">Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF)<\/g><\/g> strengthen and encourage good practice. In this time of pandemic, all preventive measures and cares are being taken to mitigate the risk of transmission of the coronavirus.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Their dedication to sports has become so intense that those in the shelter themselves have created a sports committee, to organize tournaments.<\/p>\n\n<p>Joy, union, health, vibration&#8230; sports is life! Besides strengthening the potential for education and the civic development of citizens, sports also contribute to the breaking of linguistic and cultural barriers, and to encourage peaceful co-existence.
