Then I thought about working with my family, who soon accepted.\u201d In this way, he himself taught them the trade, and they built the brand for making canvas shoes, the Kawarao, which means \u2018Our Family\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The training course was organized in the\u00a0<b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/en\/inauguration-of-the-indigenous-cultural-and-training-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indigenous Cultural and Training Center (ICTC)<\/a><\/b>, inaugurated at the beginning of this year, specifically with the intent of offering cultural integration and professional certification to those in the shelters, according to what Sister Mar\u00eda de Kibeho explains, who is a member of the handicraft and entrepreneurship area, \u201cthe\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fraternity \u2013International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><span lang=\"EN-US\"><b><\/b>\u00a0has concentrated on stimulating entrepreneurship as a possibility for making the talents and potential of the beneficiaries being referred to, as a means for a dignified life, enriching at personal and social levels.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao03-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Kawarao, &#x2018;Our Family&#x2019;\" class=\"wp-image-133998\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao03-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao03-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao03-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao03.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">There are many training and certifying courses being offered, made available by the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/en\/?s=meios+de+vida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Livelihoods and LastingSolutions Sector\u00a0<\/a><span lang=\"EN-US\"><b><\/b>of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF), which closely follows the processes experienced by the indigenous people of the shelter, also offering the possibility for putting their learning into practice. \u201cThis space for practicing was envisioned so that the knowledge acquired in the training is not lost,\u201d highlights Sister Mar\u00eda de Kibeho.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>It was precisely in this way that the project of the now entrepreneur, Bruno, began and continues, as he himself explains: \u201cwe receive the orders, we make the canvas shoes and deliver them; everything is done in the Training Center (ICTC) itself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>The young Warao has been an example, both in his success and his resolve, and he already has plans for the future: \u201cI think that in a while, the Kawarao shoe brand can move, have its own space, increase its production and sales.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>His story cheers and stimulates not only the shelter indigenous people, but also the whole team of volunteers and humanitarian servers present in the\u00a0<b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/en\/?s=miss%C3%A3o+roraima\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roraima Humanitarian Mission<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao01-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Kawarao, &#x2018;Our Family&#x2019;\" class=\"wp-image-133995\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao01-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao01-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao01-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/kawarao01.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bruno Avilo Arintero Quinonez, 20 years old, a resident of the\u00a0Pintol\u00e2ndia Shelter, is a youth of Warao ethnicity who knew how to move rapidly from taking a training course in shoemaking to the creation of a successful brand, the Kawarao.
