En general, no hay diferencias, todas las partes tienen las mismas piezas, las mismas posibilidades<\/em>, dice la hermana Carmela, monja misionera de la<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/es\/\">\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fraternidade-Federaci\u00f3n Humanitaria Internacional,\u00a0 FFHI<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, sobre el juego del ajedrez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Desde mayo, los ni\u00f1os y adolescentes venezolanos en Boa Vista, en el estado de Roraima, participan en talleres semanales de ajedrez promovidos por la organizaci\u00f3n. Las clases comenzaron en el refugio Nueva Can\u00e1 y en julio tambi\u00e9n se implementaron en el refugio ind\u00edgena Pintol\u00e2ndia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>El juego est\u00e1 destinado a brindarles, especialmente a los menores, \u00a0apoyo educativo<\/em>, dice Carmela, uno de las coordinadores de los talleres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Desde agosto, los talleres han contado con el apoyo y la orientaci\u00f3n de Edgard Zanette, profesor de filosof\u00eda y fundador del club de ajedrez de la\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uerr.edu.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Universidad Estatal de Roraima (UERR).<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>Me sent\u00ed muy feliz de poder insertarme en el proyecto de ajedrez que tenemos, difundir el juego y llevar a los ni\u00f1os al mundo l\u00fadico del ajedrez,<\/em>\u00a0dice el profesor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Divertido, el ajedrez es conocido por su capacidad para desarrollar la creatividad, el razonamiento matem\u00e1tico, el pensamiento cr\u00edtico y promueve mejoras en la autoestima, la paciencia y la empat\u00eda.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>C\u00f3mo empez\u00f3<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/capa-mat-xadrex01.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-109586 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.missoeshumanitarias.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/capa-mat-xadrex01.jpg\" alt=\"Oficinas de xadrez em Roraima\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">La primera actividad, explica la hermana Carmela, surgi\u00f3 de forma espont\u00e1nea en el refugio de Nueva Can\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>Pon\u00edamos un tablero en el comedor y esper\u00e1bamos a los interesados. A lo largo de los d\u00edas, se form\u00f3 un buen grupo de ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes<\/em>, dice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">El inter\u00e9s de los ni\u00f1os en el juego llev\u00f3 al equipo misionero, con la ayuda de los mismos j\u00f3venes, a hacer nuevas tableros con los materiales disponibles en el lugar, como cartulinas, cajas, espuma de poliestireno e incluso un palo de \u00a0escoba.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Posteriormente, los juegos provisorios fueron reemplazados por tableros de madera hechas a trav\u00e9s de donaciones y del apoyo de\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acnur.org\/es-es\/\">ACNUR<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La hermana explica que el cuidado adecuado con las piezas y los tableros es una herramienta educativa.
