The focus of this short-term mission, was the work dedicated to the Shelter homes of the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, located in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, where conflicts and religious and political disputes destroyed a nation.
In this place of service, the humanitarian workers had contact with groups of children and young people with disabilities and were able to provide various types of assistance and care through recreational and fraternal practices.
