Chile HUMANITARIAN Mission

Chile MissionDate: February 2017
Place: Regions of O’Higgins and Maule, Chile

This short-term mission aimed to provide humanitarian response to the population affected by large-scale forest fires, and to assist the animals affected by the fire.

The actions were mainly held in the cities of San Javier, Constitución and Santa Olga. The material loss, the damage to the Plant Kingdom were huge, and the mission could reach out a hand in solidarity to help the Nature Kingdoms.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

  • Help in the building of the shelter infrastructure to the fauna, and to be a place of treatment for the rescued animals.
  • Organization of the stock of food donations for the displaced people.
  • Cleaning and helping in the reconstruction of the houses affected by the fire.
  • Visits and support actions for the families affected by of the fire.
