Diary of Humanitarian Roraima Mission – Dec 15

Meeting in the morning, organized by the lieutenant colonel Doriedson Ribeiro, executive secretary of the Civil Defense of Roraima, among all the members who collaborate in the task of the CRI – Center of Reference to the Immigrant – where the different tasks and functions of the CRI were discussed.

Tasks of harmonization of the spaces, such as the place of showers. Lunch was served.

Distribution of clothes in the afternoon and activities for the children.

Dinner was fixed by the SESC – Commerce Social Service.

Last day of activities of the current group of missionaries of the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, in Roraima. From tomorrow on, a new group take on the works.

“We have had very important experiences. We may say that this humanitarian crisis is provoking a great impact in the health of the children and we have taken as a priority the assistance to these children who arrive with a lot of suffering, with fever, cold, cough, diarrhea, dental and skin problems in general. Our focus was on alleviating the suffering of these children”, said Luzia Serdano, a therapist, psychologist and a collaborator of the Roraima Mission.
