In the morning, the group received the visit of a Venezuelan refugee who thanked for having obtained a job and a place to sleep. He intends to have his wife come from Venezuela and start a new life in Brazil.

In the afternoon, another refugee who had been with pneumonia and had been accompanied by the group of missionaries also went to the CRI, to thank for having found a job and a place to sleep.

“These are examples of very much dedicated and loving people, who have managed to transform their cross into wings and now can fly”, said Denise Gomez, a missionary with the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation.

Still in the afternoon, Indigenous women showed a Warao dance to the whole group. The presentation lasted for more than one hour.
