Place: Rio Casca, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The overflow of the Casca River, caused by heavy rains, created an emergency for residents of the region. In response to this crisis, humanitarian workers from the Fraternity – Humanitarian Federation (FIHF) settled in the region and focused their efforts on the village of Vista Alegre, in the municipality of Rio Casca.
This mission humanitarian mainly provided health support by a specialized team that provided assistance of both the affected population and the employees who worked on other relief fronts.
