KENYA HUMANITARIAN MISSION

Place: Nairobi, Kenya

The humanitarian workers collaborated in the House of Training and Service, maintained in Kenya’s capital by the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, located amidst one of the greatest slums of Nairobi, with four hundred inhabitants.

Another short-term mission filled with opportunities for the relief of human pain and suffering.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

Maintenance services of the missionaries’ houses.
Home visits in the community of Huruma.
Music workshops and support services to the school founded for the community´s children.
Daily assistance in the preparation of food for 350 single mothers and orphan children interned in the House of Formation and Service.
