The social, political and economic crisis experienced in Venezuela has left millions of people in a situation of total vulnerability, without access to basic goods and services that are necessary for the maintenance of life. This is the case of Jesús and his family, who had no alternative but to migrate in search of medical care for their fourteen-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, when they arrived in Brazil, their daughter’s illness was too advanced and they could not save her.
They faced other challenges and losses. From the shelter, Jesús speaks, touched by his gratitude for the welcome and care received from the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF) and its partners.
