The Fraternity Missions (FIHM) will have a dedicated website

The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FMHI), affiliated with the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF), is launching its new website. Modern, easy to navigate, responsive, the website is available simultaneously on all platforms, and is adaptable to any type of access device, especially for the internet users that increasingly seek information in the palm of their hands.

It provides special content and has a simple, quick menu with a better viewing of the main news and videos about the activities of the institution in Humanitarian and Emergency Missions, its partners, and about the selfless service of male and female missionaries and the whole team of collaborators that make it possible to attend to thousands of people in situations of vulnerability.

A trajectory of love and solidarity

Humanitarian assistance through aid institutions, in Nepal, after the earthquake in 2011; giving shelter to the refugees from the war in Syria, in 2015; psychological support for the victims and their families in the environmental disaster, as well as logistical support for the rescue and care of the animals impacted by the tragedy, in Brumadinho, in 2019.

These are some of the examples of selfless service of male and female volunteer missionaries of the Fraternity Missions (FMHI) in its extensive history of actions in humanitarian responses, providing assistance for refugees and immigrants or acting in social, natural and environmental catastrophes in Brazil and in various other countries, such as Ethiopia,  Rwanda, Nepal, Turkey, Egypt, Nicaragua, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, the Lebanon, Angola and Paraguay. Since 2011, 23 humanitarian missions have been carried out in various regions of the planet.

For the general manager of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF), Friar Luciano, throughout all these years, the institution gradually perfected its actions in the humanitarian response, which “express its ethical values, of care for the Kingdoms of Natures and with an awakening to solidarity and the common good.”
