The health attendance continues in the CRI – Center of Reference to the Immigrant, in the city of Boa Vista. The number of immigrants who seek attendance in the Center increases, including from Cuba and Haiti.

In the CRI, joint actions with governmental organizations, including SESC – Commerce Social Service, which distributed kits for oral prevention and hygiene.

Luiz Martínez is one of the Venezuelan volunteers who help in the CRI. He left his family in Venezuela and lives as a refugee. He walks for one and a half hour to arrive at the CRI. “I came to Brazil to have a better life and I have found this opportunity of helping other immigrants. I feel better, being able to help people from Venezuela”, said Luiz.

Raising of donations and distribution in the “Venezuela SOS Refuge”, where non-indigenous Venezuelan refugees live.

In the afternoon, in the CRI, showers for the refugee children, lice removal, washing and haircut. The children also received new clothes.

TV team conducted a report with the Missionaries of the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, about the use of the truck of the Municipal Health Secretary of Boa Vista.
