Diary of the Paraguay Mission – June 26

A task in another Mbya Guarany community, called 8th of December, begins, in Presidente Franco.

Medical and dental  assistance, recreational activities with children, haircut and an exhibit of a Solar Kitchen.

Accompanied by the Chief, the group went to the deposit where the indigenous people recycle trash to survive.

The Community has been settled, for nine years, on a 20-hectare terrain and is composed of 18 families.

Each family obtains about 15 thousand Guaranies a day with the recycling (2,5 American Dollars).

There is some cultivation for consuming.
