The province of Chaco, located in the Northeast region of Argentina, will be the destiny of one more mission of the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation. Starting on January 26, the “Chaco Mission” will have as objective to alleviate the suffering of one of the poorest and neediest native communities in South America.
The mission will last for 15 days and will count with the presence of collaborators of the Network-of-Light with experience in different areas, such as medicine, dentistry and building. They will find a region marked by infantile malnutrition, by inequality and lack of health. The team will have as its working headquarters the city of Resistencia, from where the groups will leave toward the native communities. It is supposed that the first people of this region arrived there around 4,000 years B.C.
To prepare itself for the mission, the group will perform a period of training between January 19 and 25, in the Marian Center of the Holy Spirit, in the region of Cordoba, Argentina. This is the 10th international humanitarian mission of the Fraternidade and it takes place together with another mission, in the Middle East, of help to the Syrian refugees.
Whoever feels like may collaborate offering food, medicine, clothes, funds, among others.
