Roraima Humanitarian Mission – Worsening of the situation in Venezuela

Saturday 22 to Friday 28

On Tuesday, 25, four monks of the Order Grace Mercy arrived at CRI – Centre of Reference for the Immigrant, and participated in various activities with adults and children. They helped in the preparation of the meals, cleaning up the place, in filling up forms, and in activities with music.

During the week, babies and children with malnutrition, flu and dehydration were sent to a hospital in the city of Boa Vista.

Great changes begin to be perceived regarding cleaning and trash generated in the shelter, such as greater organization, separation and destination of recyclable and organic waste.
