The conflict in Ukraine has changed the geopolitical scenario in Europe and is already considered the largest humanitarian crisis on that continent since the Second World War, forcing the displacement of more than 11 million people towards the countries of the European Union, with Poland being the main country of destination.

Faced with this reality, the Fraternity- International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) started the Poland HumanitarianMission in November with the aim of providing assistance to people affected by the war.

The general manager of the Fraternity – InternationalHumanitarian Missions (FIHM), Friar Luciano, explains that “this will be the third assessment of implementation in Poland. We are there in the Kraków region and we are going to see how we can collaborate with local organizations specifically. We will come in with expertise, with volunteer humanitarian workers and with our experience in other crises like the one in Venezuela.”

The actions and initiatives developed by the Fraternity –International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF) through its intervention sectors can be accompanied by the Mission’s website.
