Fraternity – Humanitarian Missions will start operations in Geneva, Switzerland

The General Assembly for the foundation of Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FHMI) was held in Geneva, Switzerland today, at 09:30 AM (Brazilian time).

The meeting, held via the Zoom platform, was attended by the General Manager, Friar Luciano, the Executive Secretary, Leda Garcia da Eira, members of the Council of Permanent Guidance and members of Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF).

According to Friar Luciano, “… Fraternity – Humanitarian Missions International (FMHI) Geneva was created to meet the need to expand the humanitarian services of Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)worldwide, with greater legal and human support.”

The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) was initially formed in Brazil in 2018, and over time, it has been expanding to other countries across different continents. It has a bifold goal of acting on behalf of human life in situations of vulnerability and social risk, besides being a humanitarian trainer and educator in emergency plans for humanity and the Kingdoms of Nature.

“The city of Geneva is an important center of international cooperation, therefore, the foundation of Fraternity – Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) Geneva will foster the action of this Institution in Europe and the world, besides allowing the strengthening of bonds and partnerships among international and non-Governmental organizations with common objectives,” says Friar Luciano.

Fraternity–Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) Geneva will act wherever there is a need and demand, according to the resources available, in order to alleviate human suffering. The newly founded institution makes room for volunteers, who are ready to participate in solidarity, to spread aid and selfless service to the most diverse regions of the planet.

The desired result of this union of efforts and goals will be an integrated movement for peace and fraternity on the planet.
