Multi-mixture Workshop

The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) did a Multi-mixture Workshop, multi-mixture being a nutritional compound with various ingredients of brans, green leaves and seeds, with the intent of offering everybody an opportunity for becoming aware of this, and sharing knowledge and experiences that contribute to the common good.

The Workshop, which took place in the city of Porto, Portugal, is part of the Food and Food Safety Project, developed by the Fraternity – Humanitarian Missions (FIHM), which does a study on and implementation of self-sustainability practices that aim to improve procedures necessary for the manufacture of products that take care of the needs of the most vulnerable populations, as well as the cultivation of vegetables, being able to be adapted to different contexts of social and humanitarian crises.

This kind of activity is part of the actions that deal directly with Food Safety, specifically with Standard 3, as provided in the Sphere Humanitarian Standards (M.E. p. 191).
